WV distributes food packs to 2000 families in Mindanao, more aid needed

“The flood took away everything from me. My notebooks and other school things including my favorite toy telephone,  were swept away by the rushing floodwater, ” said 10-year old Phoebe Ebarquez, a grade five student of Alubijid, Misamis Oriental in Mindanao. Two weeks have passed since the flooding.

Book authored by children launched in the National Children's Congress

"Be brave, stand for truth!" - a message inked by a child as he interprets his artwork about how to love his country and the world. This is one of the fifty colorful illustrations featured in the newly published World Vision booklet 50 Little Big Things recently launched in the National Children Congress last May 6, 2008 in Pililla, Rizal.
